Detoxing anyone?? So, for starters let’s talk about the benefits of detoxing water. Most important detox water flushes out the toxins in your body.
- Weight loss
- Boost energy level
- Strengthens your immune system
- Clears your mind
- Healthier hair
- Helps with anti-aging
And the list goes on….
So, lately my choice of beverage has been detox water which consist of lemons, limes, and blueberries (you can add your fruits of choice) I drink TONS of water….like with every meal and in between (except coffee for breakfast:) ha!) But never have I ever tried detox water until about 3 weeks ago. It’s refreshing, and absolutely satisfying. Which is perfect considering all the benefits that comes with detox water. Definitely, keep in mind it is important to maintain what foods you put in your body. Cutting out sugar is huge… after eating a heavy meal, or having a beverage loaded with sugar , your body feels sluggish, and weighed down. When detoxing, your body feels lighter, which makes you feel better, which promotes a clear mind, which allows you to make better choices. Which makes for a better YOU!!
Our skin being the largest organ. It makes sense to take care of our body from the inside out! Don’t freak out people…you can still eat while drinking detox water , but just don’t eat CRAP! Now, I am not an expert as I looooove my coffee with creamer, and all the sweets I can find… but I try and balance out in between as much as I can. Having green tea in the AM instead of coffee-which serves as a great antioxidant. These are just a few recent things I have learned about detoxing, and what good it can do for your body. I am still learning and trying to come up with a better meal plan that works for me. Until then peeps, happy detoxing!!:)
